Our Blue Mountains tours offer a great chance to avoid the crowds and experience the Mountains in a genuine way. And it's great fun!
See below for some reasons why, or see what a Typical Day
on our Blue Mountains tours is like. But remember - we pride ourselves on personalising our tour each day.
Choosing a path less-travelled
The Blue Mountains is understandably one of Australia's most visited regions. With the stunning views, great wildlife and fabulous bush walks, it's easy to see why. But the irony is, that most people barely get to experience the real Blue Mountains. We shun the usual tourist spots, jammed with large buses and noisy groups. Instead we take you to the picturesque, tranquil lookouts where the views are even more spectacular when they're enjoyed in peace and solitude. We know the Mountains intimately, and can let you experience the vast beauty without having to fight the crowds.
Flexible, customised itinerary
Although there are some things we try to do every day - like visiting Muru Mittigar Aboriginal Centre, or getting up close to Kangaroos in Blue Mountains National Park - we try to keep our itinerary as flexible as possible so we can enjoy the best the Mountains have to offer each day. Like any place of natural beauty, the Mountains take on different moods each day so we tailor our itinerary to showcase the best. On radiant, sunny days, or days when the mist hangs low and the rain blankets the rainforest, there's always something to see and experience. Find out more about A Typical Day.
Indigenous Culture
As the world's oldest surviving culture, the Australian Aborigines offer a rich and diverse background of beliefs, customs, language, art and food. We visit the award-winning Muru Mittigar Cultural Centre to experience all aspects of aboriginal culture, from bush foods and medicines, to art interpretation, tools and weapons. This is a positive, approachable environment in which to interact one-on-one with indigenous Australians, and learn more about this fascinating culture. Lunch with a view
At midday, we retreat to the peaceful, clifftop serenity of Wentworth Falls to enjoy a hearty cafe lunch with spectacular bush views over the Jamison Valley. Our retreat is the hidden bush setting of The Conservation Hut. Sweeping views from the verandah, and cosy fire-side tables in winter make The Conservation Hut a great venue for any season. The cafe-style lunch includes a delicious range of hot and cold options, along with complimentary tea, coffee and water.
There are also a number of short bushwalks and lookouts nearby, to allow you time before or after lunch to stretch your legs, take in the stunning vistas, and discover how the Blue Mountains got their name.
Wildlife in its natural setting
Forget the wildlife parks - in the hidden valleys of Blue Mountains National Park, we give you the chance to get close to iconic Australian animals and birds in their natural home. At Euroka Clearing the kangaroos and wallabies are relaxed and plentiful, enjoying this picturesque ancient volcano and the fertile grazing lands it provides. As it's a natural environment we can't guarantee what you'll see, but we can assure you that you won't go home disappointed. Birds, marsupials and reptiles all abound here.

Great for the kids
Our Blue Mountains tours are great for kids or families. With a focus on natural wildlife encounters and aboriginal culture, there's plenty for kids to do and see. At Muru Mittigar they can learn about aboriginal culture, and pick up and handle all the tools and weapons. In the Mountains there are short walks, awesome views and a great bush setting for lunch with plenty of room to run around. Plus, kids under 14 years pay just $120 per person.
